Description
Cast Bronze using lost wax casting.
I enjoy hand carving a lot of my rings from wax, putting in fine designs and details is a metitative process for me. THis particular ring was designed for my ex-girlfriend about 2 years ago. I casted all of my rings into bronze masters so that I could make molds from it.
The basic ring was carved on a small milling lathe, and then the pattern was carved into the surface using a small dental tool. After casting, I produced a mold and injected wax into it to get multiple rings which were cast in silver. I do not have photos of the silver version.

Nice design. I really enjoyed lost wax casting when I got to try it. I want to experiment with it again some day. Keep up the good work.
